What do you think of when you hear the word ‘sharing’? …She asked herself. They asked themselves. It whispered in the dead space of its mind while metaphorical weeds began to die before they flowered.

Right, sharing. Thefacebook.com’s proudest possession. Do you feel possessed by sharing? I’m still just asking myself here, please do not indulge yourself in exploring your own answer, this question is simply not for you. Sharing is supposed to be caring…sharing is liking and subscribing…? No, share is of a company.\! BTW I just shared that thing with you on facebook. Let me share it on instagram. My dad’s dying, I shared his gofundme page with you. Did you get it? Buds bloom blossom and die before I even remember my next thought.

This here is only a light squeeze of the brain feces that need to be aired out of ye olde headache factory. My thoughts do not form fully as they once did. I along with many others have been handing my soul over to the highest and dumbest bidders for a while now. In order to rope my soul back in, (l want to name her but it feels too soon, awkward even) I’ll have to suck whatever “it” is up and fight fire with an older, less CGI fire.

Blog culture used to make sense to me. It was simple and cool. AIM, MySpace, Tumblr, it was all just sharing. Playing music, talking to friends, posting pictures and reading fan diaries. I haven’t curated my own blog before, and I didn’t think I would. But the internet is going to shit and the tech companies that sold us back the concept of sharing for the price of our cute little pink brains need to be punished. I’m taking their seeds away and planting them here (hmph!). I am tAKING MY SEEDS BACK. H M P H>>>

So join me! (Again, not talking to you, please stop flattering yourself.) I’ll be insisting to myself that I “launch” this webspace before it appears at all clean or thematic, hopefully it will with time. [DISCLAIMER TO OL’ SOUL NONAME: YOU DON’T KNOW HOW DRESS A WEBSITE]. Perhaps in some months, this page will have some sort of background.

_{I will admit I do also want to share this with you. The site is for me and it’s also for others to see me. I’m hoping you and I will start seeing each other this way more and more. I’ll figure out how to put my photos here, my music, my projects, my thoughts on movies, videos of my cat. I’ll figure it all out. And I’ll have a shared calendar where we can tell each other about our gigs and the fun and important times we’re having across the city, perhaps the world. I’ll figure that all out.
